I would like to tell you that the entire training process of career counseling conducted by the ECI team has created a great change in the pre and post-vision of the children. Now the school children are much confident and proactive in sharing problems, asking for suggestions as well as discussing them boldly. I am very happy. If I compare it with their state a few years ago, the children were hesitant in sharing their problems and were unable to articulate their issues. But now the children come with solutions and discuss them for seeking advice. I am really happy that such a change has happened. The vision and knowledge of children have been broadly enhanced. I am hopeful that we will continue this practice. Now even the children of 4 and 5 years from the junior classes run into the principal office and discuss their matters by giving suggestions. That’s when we feel that we are successfully and rightly leading our generation. In our times, it was surprising for us to think about going to the principal office. We used to fear going into the principal office and sharing our issues. But today’s child is blissfully highly conscious.
I think the credit for this great success goes to the Muslim Hands and Career Counseling training team of ECI that enabled us to raise a new aware generation for the future of Pakistan. This is a fantastic step.
